YOU CAN DO-IT-YOURSELF!
Let’s face it, the legal world was not designed to be easy to navigate. The rules are complicated and the court cannot offer help to the pro se person (unrepresented by an attorney). This site was created to balance a need for attorney guidance with the high costs of hiring an attorney for full-representation.
What WFLC Does
WFLC provides guidance to pro se litigants to represent themselves through a divorce or legal separation with confidence.
You can Trust Washington Family Law Coach to Help You
WFLC is up-to-date on family law issues, so you can be sure that you are receiving high-quality, legal pleadings in an ever-changing family law field.
What You Get
You get a complete set of attorney-prepared family law pleadings (documents) that are ready-to-file with the court along with step-by-step county-specific filing instructions to get Divorced or Legally Separated. Your pleadings are drafted by an experienced family law attorney licensed in the State of Washington.
Who Should Use This Site?
This site is designed for people with simple divorces or Legal Separations with or without children. A simple divorce may include issues such as: asset division, debt allocation, parenting plan, child support, spousal maintenance, etc.
How is this site different from other sites that provide legal documents?
Other sites can provide fill-in-the-blank legal documents for you to fill in. This site provides legal pleadings (documents) suitable for filing with any court in the State of Washington and personal guidance from an attorney for every document provided. Each person will receive county specific rules and step-by-step instructions on what to do with each finished document received from this site.
What if I’m in the Middle of My Case?
If you have already started your case, WFLC can help you with specific pleadings you may need. You will get the same personal guidance and final document ready-to-file with the court. This way, you can order documents as you need them instead of getting them all at once. See the list of Additional Documents available.
